A note from the Founder...

Emily Levine

Hello! I’m Emily, the Founder & Creative Director of Studio Scouted.

Being a creative at heart, Studio Scouted reflects a full-circle journey for me. As an only child, my bedroom was my happy place & outlet of self-expression. From painting feature walls (they were trendy back then, I swear!) to rearranging the layout until it felt just right, I’ve had a passion for interiors from a young age. I reconnected with this passion when styling my first home in 2022… the rest, as they say, is history!

What I love most about Interior Design is connecting with my clients. The trust we build and the relationships that form along the way are incredibly meaningful to me. Being part of their lives and helping create a space that truly reflects them is what makes this process so special.

I am deeply inspired by my Australian upbringing & my now-home, California; that quintessential ‘casual-yet-refined’ design aesthetic, connection to nature, love for natural materials, indoor-outdoor lifestyle and inherent calm of the coastline.

For me, the true test of good design is when a space feels not only beautiful, but also livable, where nothing is too precious that life cannot continue to flow naturally. That means tracking sand through the house after an ocean swim, cooking up a storm in the kitchen or hosting a summer BBQ with friends & family - my designs allow for all of life’s moments to shine just as much as their surroundings.

Our Design Principles

  • All design decisions are made with care, intention and an understanding of how our clients truly live. Every design element is thoughtfully considered with purpose, down to the smallest of detail.

  • Great design doesn’t have to feel out of reach. We blend high and low, vintage and new, creating character-rich spaces that feel curated and elevated no matter the project budget.

  • Having grown up stretching creativity with limited resources, we believe constraints inspire character. We prioritize what matters and bring creative solutions to every space.

  • Whenever possible, we aim to make design decisions that minimize environmental impact and emphasize long-term thinking. Being deeply inspired by nature, we take care when it comes to our design choices and how they may impact both our clients home & the environment.

  • Our design process is grounded in listening and learning. Whether you want to be hands-off or collaborative, we guide with expertise to design a space that is truly yours. Your vision and story is at the heart of every project.
